Even foreign countries, especially Western countries, also never
practise a law that is sooo favourable to women when they get
divorced.
I heard that in foreign countries, the married couples can
arrange a "contract" whereby the other party cannot get a single
cent from the spouse,if there was any divorce occur later on.
Or divide the money n property equally if there was a divorce
taking place.
You'd be foolish to really believe that divorce is a clean cut
split when there's children involved.
Why do you assume that everything will go to the wife ??????
If you fear your other half taking from you. Then why get
married in the first place ?
What makes you think your spouse will give you everything when
you are defensive about what you have ? A miser begets misery.
Pre-nuptials agreements are good if you have no children. But
when there's kids and/or dependents involve, the court will not
enforce the agreement to the T.
Also, in western countries, child support payments are enforced
by GARNISHING the paychecks. In Singapore, you see fathers running
away from taking care of their own children, what a shame.
So yeah... betta to hand over a big chunk of the assets to pay
for their children during divorce.. than to havta keep chasing afta
them every other month , ya ?
Untill SG men becomes equally involved in the day to day care of
his family, and stop making lame excuses to avoid providing for
their own children....I don't see why SG men deserve more now.
A marriage is not simply about who brings back the
most bacon.
